Jesus Christ doesn't "wave a magic wand". The Scriptures tell us that "all" sin against the holy and perfect Creator of the universe and mankind. There is *Someone* out there Who made all things and made them "good". Philosophers forever have argued whether man is basically good or is he flawed on the inside. According to the Bible, mankind is flawed from the inside and unable to be in the presence of his holy Creator. Jesus Christ was "made sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God". Our Creator made a way.... It makes no sense to someone who doesn't know the Scriptures. Haggard does; and so do other Christians. We do not excuse him; he will suffer the consequen...

According to the Bible, mankind is flawed from the inside and unable to be in the presence of his holy Creator. Jesus Christ was "made sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God". Our Creator made a way.... It makes no sense to someone who doesn't know the Scriptures. Haggard does; and so do other Christians. We do not excuse him; he will suffer the consequences for his succumbing to his "flesh"; but we are compassionate because the Redeemer has been provided and He continues to be our Advocate before our loving God. No Christian rejoices when another's failures are paraded for the world to see; we know what all of us are capable of and that we do sin....each of ours just looks different.
