This photo appeared this morning at the top of the New York Times home page to accompany a story about Al Gore being named co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Remarkably, reader comments were attached immediately below the photo caption. It was the most prominent placement of reader response that I've ever seen on a leading news Web site.
