What bothers me about this clip is that it implies religion had little or nothing to do with our founding father's crafting our constitution. There was a tremendous amount of influence from religion that is being ignored today. Check this site if you need proof.

What bothers me about this clip is that it implies religion had little or nothing to do with our founding father's crafting our constitution.

It had a great deal to do with our Constitution, so much so that it was addressed in the very first Amendment. They knew enough to keep it out.

I would bet it influenced how they crafted it, though. Maybe we need a little more of that "influence" in this day and time.
