I attempted to crochet this in two colours. After an hour or two of wrangling I finally managed to get to the fifth and final round. That's when I realized I had completely screwed up! I haven't made a granny square before, and didn't realize that the corners aren't crocheted *into* the chain stitches but around. Oi! Will make another attempt tonight after trying my had at a traditional granny square.
