Cool tips. I find I often have great brainstorming sessions right as I'm falling asleep. So much so that I've taken to playing my gameboy to focus my mind on a mundane task and fall asleep faster. It's amazing what our brains can do when we're asleep. yes! Generally it is better to not stand up in a hurry when you wake up. Even if you realize that you are too late, stay in bed for a few minutes and take time to loll and get awake before you stand up. I practise this since a few months and it is very good! Everything seems to be easier and to turn out well during the day if you do so. ericskiff: yeah, that's also a problem I have, especially if I go to bed right after sitting on a computer or doing some other task. Usually I'll lie there for at least 20 minutes while the chatter goes on (stuff I forgot to do, random ideas, etc.). Now, I sit down for 20-30 minutes before I go to bed with a piece of paper and a pencil and write down all the new tasks and ideas. Then when I go to bed, the chatter's gone. funana: sounds like a good idea, I'll have to try it. |
