Found this article after reading a different clip from it (see http://bit.ly/3QrMZP). Really good article for those interested in understand bullies and how to confront them. One thing i hope to impart on my kids is the ability to have a longer term perspective than kids usually possess. If possible, i think it will alleviate some of the pressure that comes with adolescence. This clip speaks directly to what i'm talking about...

I was a bully victim when I was a kid. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago before we had Modern Psychiatry or Psychology (yes, I really am that old ).
To this day, I hate bullies and perhaps even more I hate people who are cruel to animals. What I learned from all this was to never allow myself to be a victim. Fortunately people have more to work with now than what I had back then. I believe the bottom line is still the same however. Never allow yourself to be a victim.
