It has absolutely nothing to do with socializing health care, so he's probably not interested. Or Iran won’t accept a statement from him without preconditions.

8 years of failed Bush policy on Iran lead to Amadinajab and nuclear weapons, 6 months of Obama policy and the Iranian establishment is fighting for its life. You know if the Republican policy had been at all effective you might have a leg to stand on but it wasn't. It was utter failure. Obama's policy on the other hand... Well the proof is in the pudding.

You are such a drooling, f#$%&, idiot. This IS the Bush policy. This is the result of the Bush policy. The pent up rage among the youth is occurring because of the US strategy in the Middle East. Two democracies, Afghanistan and Iraq, serving as a vice that crushes the totalitarian-fascist regime in Iran.

Thanks willhelm. Always know when the analysis is on target by your reaction.

I see that Willhelm is clipping your comments and trashing them there. Do I understand correctly that he has banned you from commenting on his clips as well?

Actually, I am clogging them and amplifying them on twitter and beyond.

Yes, you understand correctly, jk. I block kmcolo, oortcloud, and dorkfarce. I think a while back I also blocked that yanceducat character.

Isn't that dangerous? I mean, shouldn't you have warned the folks at twitter that you were doing this so they could beef up their servers and prepare for the barrage of users who join to get your devastating ripostes to kmcolo?

Wow! Dangerous. Didn't think about it that way. Hmmm LOL.

Yes, he is a coward. He has banned my commenting. But really, Iraq and Afghanistan as models of democracy? He's been sniffing the Fox News glue too long. Who takes him seriously?

But really, Iraq and Afghanistan as models of democracy?
Yeah, that does not make any sense...but then why go to the trouble of making a real argument when you can just call people "drooling fucking idiots"?

Either the cognitive dissonance runs so strong or he just makes this stuff up. Either case there is no basis in reality for that comment. I suppose that the delaying of the elections in Afghanistan, the widespread resentment of its government and the upswing in support for the insurgents there isn't happening either.

Sorry friend, but sometimes the knee-jerk, autopilot, soundbite reasoning is just so feeble that the ignorance can irritate a body.
It is a cotton candy cloud reassurance which you reach for by thinking his reaction validates your equally empty initial analysis.
Just to test the substance, ask yourself which backdrop would make you feel more secure as to possible supporting intervention by the U.S. if you were one of the Iranian protesters: a Bush administration or Obama? And believe me, I'm no big fan of Bush. Maybe try to think without the bias or trying to match up with certain thought communities. Herd mentality is why we are where we are today, I think.

davboz, I'm not a Bush fan either. I think I've made that pretty clear for several years here. However, you have to give credit where credit is due. The Bush approach to "changing the face" of the Middle East resulted in 1. Iran's hardline approach and 2. The Iranian people's resistance to it. I think what we have seen in Iran is only the beginning. It is the result of US actions on both borders. The Iranian people rising up.
