Good to see Bush is looking after those he sent to a needless war. 200,000!!! All of BushCo should receive the same they expect these noble men and women to endure. Tent cities are popping up all over the US, and they are not just filled with veterans. The treatment our returning troops experience is a national disgrace. And, regretfully, hasn't changed over the past 30 years. But, reality is that the economy is so much worse than the bulk of Americans realize. Or want to realize. We need good paying jobs here. Jobs would cure a lot of these ills. Bless our soldiers, and our people, we need it. Our veterans and the families who support them as they cope with PTSD need our help. I have taken this mission seriously and have been working on a self help CD that uses guided imagery and conversational style hypnosis for caregivers coping with grief, anger and loss. I have distributed it to psychologists across the country and am getting positive feedback (even from veterans and their families). It is my intention to rercord it (incorporating feedback) and create a free podcast for veteran families. It is a small step but hey if we all did something it would mean a lot of support for these men and women. It was orginally set up for sale on www.veteranshelper.com to recover some cost... So the LORD shows them, what they've done to other people! They didn't take them only their shelters! They did this to thousands of people, they never hurted anyone! Only for money! They call themselves christ! So they have to accept their own laws! Ezekiel: Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain. 28 Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'- when the LORD has notspoken. 29 The people of the land practise extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and ill-treat the alien, denying them justice. 30 I looked for... It's easy to be angry with the Bush administration, but if you read the story it becomes clear this problem did not develop in the just the past eight years. While in our hearts we want to believe we support our troops, but the reality is the magnetic ribbon on the back of our grocery getter is far from the support they deserve. What have you done to support the troops? It cracks me up to hear people talk about us "going back to fight in Iraq. Going back? We never left! Our men and women were constantly deployed throughout the region from the start of Desert Shield. No one was bitching about supporting them when the economy was booming and gas was cheap. With less than 1% of our ... Mitgegangen - mitgefangen - mitgehangen ! One, who waches the door, while his friends atack the Bank and shot down the clerk, will be jailed even like the others too. Who is a killer shall be killed - by US law. Let me get one thing clear. Is the US military a volunteer force? The vets chose to go and fight against any one they were told to fight. Presumably they knew what they were getting themselves into and getting paid for it. They should have made provisions after discharge like every body else. What is the problem? Have you looked at how many homeless and even worse, there are in Iraq? Both these circumstances stem from US military action. With one significant difference, the vets were volunteers, the Iraqis did not have a say in the matter. |
