Why does Hillary's response in regards to Iraq remind me of Faye Dunaway playing Joan Crawford in "Mommy Dearest"?

We brought the wire hangers into the house, but it's the Iraqis' fault for not getting rid of them...

...now our troops are left there until they finish their serving of rare (umm..."why is this things still moving") steak or until "Mommy Dearest" decides it's pointless to continue to force the issue.

(gawd dayumm, I'm old...)
