Well, nothing is really "lab-created". It just uses various components found in nature, and mixes them in the way nature doesn't automatically. Whether or not it's made my men doesn't make it "un-natural".

Yeah, but what I was getting at is that most artificial flavors are based around existing flavors already found in nature (fruits, mints, licorice, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, etc.). It's not often that a man-made combination of chemicals comes up with a new flavor that is so unique and interesting (at least to the American palette) that it's become a common flavor unto itself.
