None of which would be a problem if a public option was made available to those who don't make enough money or aren't offered insurance via work. We have the same system in Massachusetts and it works great because we have a public option available to residents who don't have insurance through their employer or don't have the money to buy it themselves. which is why it is extremely important that any health care reform that is passed has a public option. Of course the conservatards are doing all they can to make sure that tax dollars aren't being used to save people so god knows what will happen.

The health care bill is not about health care. It is about protecting and increasing the profits of the insurance companies. The main feature of the health care bill is the “individual mandate,” which requires everyone in America to buy health insurance.

It is absurd to mandate that people purchase what they cannot afford and to fine them for failing to do so. A person who cannot pay a health insurance premium cannot pay the fine.

It's all about control, control of the people and control of 1/6th of our economy.

Under Obamacare, you either buy Insurance or Face a $25,000 Fine and One Year in Jail.

It is President Barack Obama's contention that the individual mandate penalty, which could go as high as $1,900, is not a tax increase.

Yet, it is Sec 7203 of the IRS Code that provides the penalties if there is a willful failure to file, pay, maintain appropriate records and the like, that the taxpayer may be charged with a misdemeanor with a penalty of up to $25,000 and not more that a year in jail.

NOT A TAX? A rose by any other name is still a rose.

The Democrats not only want to force Americans to buy an insura...
