Some things never change. Just like 10 years ago, NATO is still an obsolete bureaucracy trying to find a new mission to justify its existence. The temporary sense of relevance provided by the post-9/11 invocation of the mutual-defense provision didn't make NATO fundamentally useful in the long term.
