Thumbs up! language shapes so much of our perceptions. I was just thinking today, when I interacted with some online form, that we better use 'please' and other civil forms when interacting with computers. In times to come, when machines consciousness will be a fact, we don't want to start re-educating ourselves to be civil; let's be civil from the start!
