Love the picture.
I have a terrabyte of storage on my pc and much, much more on storage media. I often wonder what will be invented that will reduce my stacks to the size of one chip? Then after its all converted over there will actually be twice as much data stored.
We should not forget photos, books, records and keepsakes with a history. Those keepsakes histories are stored in our brains which are also data storage containers.

Certainly one of the issues of modern life for any individual of wide and varied interests along with an active curiosity is coming to grips with the fact that one must push away at times and simply admit that there's more out there than s/he'll ever consume. A search for "Internet addiction" brings up 77 clips as testament to that fact.

All the data on this planet, every bit, thought, page and platter are products of this universe. This is only one planet.
When compared to all the information and data that is possible in the universe we have not even scratched the surface.
I think we need a bigger box.
