I believe this study offers helpful new information. I helped raise my brother by parenting him from age 13 to 18. He has ADHD, and although he is a good kid, he always struggled with school. It looked like he make get into trouble with the law when he was younger, but he has begun to slowly mature. He is now almost 24, and he has gotten married and has a decent job.

I have a 2 3/4 year old child with possible ADHD ( children can't be evaluated for it until they're 5) . I am hoping this might lead in the right direction for better treatment and understanding. I also have 3 children on the autism spectrum.

Lucky for my husband and me they are wonderful kids. Our School dept started it's own Pre K Autism classrooms, which is doing wonders. They get OT, Speech therapy, PT, socail and living skills. The only problem is that this year the school is getting at least twice as many referrals as they predicted and now are scrambling to get another classroom open for the new kids.
