Well, that explains the whole thing. President Poupon obviously deserves to be dragged through the mud for his condiment choice, these pompous, pampered, paisley-faced Fox News announcers would have us believe.

They probably all earn nice six-figure salaries, stay in hotels that cost hundreds of dollars a night, eat out at fine restaurants once or twice a day, maybe even have chauffer driven stretch limos drive them back and forth to work and worry more about their hair and wrinkles than any social or national issue --and are willing to mock the Pres...

Well, that explains the whole thing. President Poupon obviously deserves to be dragged through the mud for his condiment choice, these pompous, pampered, paisley-faced Fox News announcers would have us believe.

They probably all earn nice six-figure salaries, stay in hotels that cost hundreds of dollars a night, eat out at fine restaurants once or twice a day, maybe even have chauffer driven stretch limos drive them back and forth to work and worry more about their hair and wrinkles than any social or national issue --and are willing to mock the President for one stupid thing after another, hoping it will eventually all add up to tear him down and make his life miserable: that's their job.

Apparently, we're suppose to believe (or care) that Dijon mustard is...um, "aristocratic," or something.
When, per serving, it probably doesn't add up to two cents more per burger.

I suppose it was like Hillary Clinton wanting to show she was "one of the boys,' and going into a local Bar&Grill and ordering a shot of Crown Royale.

But at least President Obama knows what money is; knows how to take a number at a burger place, can pull $20.00 out of his pocket and probably even checks to make sure he wasn't short-changed.

Bush (Kerry) and most other politicans (or those with inherited wealth) would have difficulty with that, and couldn't come close to knowing what a gallon of milk cost, or a loaf of bread.

Obama knows the price of a gallon of milk, a lof of bread, a can of beans. And he knows it makes a difference to people because it made a difference to him and his mother growing up.

Apparently, btw, the request for DIJON mustard wasn't too way out of hand, since Ray's Hell Burder in Arlington, VA was able to supply it.

There is no arguing about taste (old Roman porverb). And somethings are worth 2-cents, 10-cents or a dollar more.
