this is amazing. if it works it can be used not only for the sick, why not having an external hard drive to store memories, and new information, or to download some existing one, making space to newer? sounds intriguing,
and yes it woulkd change human identity.
But hey, why not?

science and technology are both getting really radical!

As a medical aid this may very well be a great outcome for those that have suffered severe strokes etc. However, I do think that if we all would get an external memorycard, it's likely that we would start using less of our own intellect, which offcourse will end up making us more dumb then we allready are.

And for the conspiracy theorist out there, the chips could be embedded with a receiver to allow the persons thoughts to be controlled by outside sources.
