The Russians invaded Georgian air space to shoot down the drone. Imagine if Quebec rebelled against Canada and the U.S. sent an F-16 to shoot down a Canadian recon drone over Quebec. What business is that of the U.S. when the Canadians are flying aircraft over their own territory? This was done to help the separatist, risking expanding the war beyond Georgia. Why is the error condition at the end in english? Are we selling predator drones to the georgians? Probably, or the Brits or the Israelis. |
