Of all the people who should have learned from history's past mistakes, George W Bush and his henchmen should have learned from Vietnam. The misery these warmongers have caused humanity is incomprehensible... I came across this quote... a quote of hope in these unbearable times.

They did learn. They learned that controlling the media made the difference. There are protests & rallies nearly everyday, but they receive very little publicity.
I have come to realize just how important a free press is.
If not for the internet, all we would know is Bush et.al propoganda.

As predictable as sand in the Sahara.

The difference between Iraq and Vietnam is what will happens when pulling out short to victory. In Vietnam, the pull out meant the enemy was happy and no longer trying to kill Americans. In Iraq this will not be the case. Al Qaida will continue to try to kill Americans. In fact, pulling out of Iraq will fill the Al Qaida with confidence that they can defeat the USA, making them even more aggressive in attacking us.

This is a huge difference between Vietnam and Iraq. I can't stand the Bush administrating but I will not let this cloud my judgment to the reality of the dangers of the Islamic terrorist NOR TO THE TREAT THAT ALL RELIGIONS POSE.
