I've been using paint.net for about 6 months now and it has taken a lot to get use to after being a photoshop user for years, but it really is a great program, though it has a long way to go before it's a replacement for photoshop. My only major complaint is that it does not support multiple images open at once. You can open multiple instances of the app, but it's just not the same.
