Today is the anniversary of Edwin Land's introduction of the Land
Camera. Inventor and scientist, Land developed the first process that
could make a finished print in 60 seconds. This year's anniversary,
though, is bittersweet; Polaroid Corporation <A title="Polaroid: Notification of Polaroid Instant Film Availability" href="http://www.polaroid.com/ifilm/en/index.html">announced this month</A> that all instant films will no longer be produced after 2008.
