But there are encouraging signs. I am seeing more and more Christians with the relgious vision that "We are in good hands; therefore, let us take care of one another." It hard to put it better than that.

So I believe that Alfonso's idea of First Order Christians and Second Order Christians is interesting and in that perspective I believe most would classify themselves as First Order.
As to atheists coming for our children, that idea is almost laughable to me. I've had Mormons come knocking on my door & Jehovah's Witnesses, but I have yet to have an atheist give me any literature These ideas are pure fear-based foolishness and a crafty PR campaign in response to the political back-lash against the religious right.
