Religion makes people insane. They can no longer determine right from wrong. A big problem with faith is that it prevents people from using their brain.

But the culture sees nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it's a scary world to be a woman in.

Yes, it is scary. It's amazing to me, though, that a lot of these beliefs and traditions seem to be founded on a fear of women. They're all about ensuring that women are prevented from being heard, being seen, or having choices, independence or power of any sort. Women seem to be incredibly threatening to patriarchal cultures.
