While referencing a relatively high population density might seem to shore up your assertion that "everything there should have been discovered long time ago," I believe that to be poppycock.

The Terra Cotta Army, thought to be completed in 210 B.C. was only uncovered in 1974. Considering that it is estimated that over 700,000 workers labored in its construction, were I to use your logic, I might say that it should have lived in verbal legend in the memories of the arguable millions of descendents of those workers, but that would be an equally specious notion.
