"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." John Adams

"God governs in the affairs of man. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible.” George Washington

“What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ.” Washington

"To the distinguished character of patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian" Washington

Washington also requested a Bible for taking his oath, added the words "So help me God" to the end of his oath, and kissed the Bible after taking his oath.

Indeed, the religion of Catholicism has ruined the lives of millions with it's pope worship - only God Almighty must be revered as such.

What a great thing it is to be free from the tyranny of the State over the Church! May the State forever keep its power hungry claws away from Church affairs.

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connections with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked: Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice ? And let us with caution i...
