Rafsanjani is a founding father who put Khamenei in power and technically has power to remove him.

Their political ladder sure does have a lot of hidden and uneven rungs in it. I can't figure out whos who and whos what and whats who and so on and so forth. Atleast here in the US we know where each big dummy stands. Usually standing there with their hand out....... palm up.

I imagine ours is at least as baffling to them as is theirs to us! We're just used to our own.
