The Trust buys up historic, umm, landmarks and rehabs them into vacation rentals. Sounds very cool. Most, but not all locations are in the UK. Anyone tried this?

<P>First we must raise the funds to restore the building. Once restored, 
            our buildings are available for holidays, all year around. There are 
            184 Landmarks throughout Britain and the Channel Islands, including 
            23 on Lundy Island, four in Italy and four in the USA. They include 
            forts, manor houses, mills, cottages, castles, gatehouses, follies
