Little accountability, transparency; cites large contractor billings in "miscellaneous" category; we really don't know how our money is being spent, or if contractors are taking us to the cleaners in the GWOT (global war on terror)

The looting of this country by war profiteers is abominable...who is gonna stop them before we're all broke? (except the uber-rich, of course)

Prospects aren't good in that regard. The über-rich are the war profiteers (in many cases), and are the campaign funders, and many of our Senators and Reps are stockholders of defense-related industries. So it's normal business - you borrow some, you make money. Trouble is, it's the people they commit to the loan, and it's not the people who make the money.
