What about the PATRIOT act, FISA, and the hundreds of illegal signing statements?

Bush likes to say signing ststements are "for clarification", but it is not his job to clarify. If there are questions, he should send the bill back to congress for them to clarify, or have the courts interpert the law. ITS NOT BUSHS JOB TO EDIT LAWS.

Its also NOT bushs job to protect americans by starting wars and tortuting people.

His ONLY job is to defend the constitution, and he has failed miserably.

All past problems will be dealt with in due time I'm sure of. I'm sure he is very busy making plans and I don't think he will waste too much time once he takes office all improprieties will be dealt with in a timely fashion. Obama has got a real bag of snakes to deal with!

Yes, isn't it hopeful, just knowing that all these are seriously under review? I hope he goes after the signing statements, too, if the president has authority to revoke them.
You always wonder, when your side gets elected - are they really going to take it seriously? And it looks like there might be reason for hope to grow.

um. I don't see a list of 200 things there- do we even KNOW what all 200 of them are?
might there be some that we do not want reversed?

I'm sure there are some he doesn't want to reverse. They're just making a list, knowing that Bush has had quite a run of last-minute executive orders, changing things without congressional approval, that could be set back the way they were if the next president so desired.
