this is extremely clever, beyond humour even
It could be an idea to "kick off" an incredible T.V. show
or even a Hollywood thriller - whoever originally composed "And That's How the Fight Started"

Hello bobcatdave, I think she said that to keep her husband from leaving her to go fishing so often. I'm sure he'll probably never go fishing again without remembering the incident. He may quit fishing completely or start taking her with him. Also, she more than likely knew it was raining out and that her husband would be returning. If she really expected someone else, she would have at least turned over in bed to see who had actually come in.
