The trial was a political stunt aimed at more mud-slinging at the hated Administration to see what might stick. McClellan's book released last month, ``What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception,'' also said the White House conducted a ``political propaganda campaign'' to justify going to war in Iraq. Armitage was the first leaker, but not the only one. And Libby was hiding something, what it was and why he lied so much is the big question that still remains unanswered. |
