I saw a TV demo of this machine long ago but for some reason it has become almost impossible to find information on this Japanese invention.

I was just wondering if it is even possible for ultra sonic vibrations could even loosen dirt/soil witout damaging the fabric

Goldsmiths use a similar thing to clean delicate jewelry and gemstones. It's safe.
