adamc says: Kids, what will they think of next? It's just funny that the technology was originally intended to be used against kids -- I remember reading about a store owner who installed the noise-making device outside his store to discourage teens from loitering (did someone clip that?) too slow adamc! Wow, are we all reading from the same OPML of RSS feeds Funny, I actually went to Netscape.com (somewhere I would never go) because PaidContent.org had an article saying that Jason Calacanis was turning Netscape.com into a digg-like site. This was one of their headlines. I am 25 and can still hear tones up to 19000 hz. This is 4000 hz higher than what the Mosquito is operating at. Most people I know that are between the age of 30 and 40 can still hear the tone as well. My parents are the only two I know so far that can't hear these tones. They are 59 and 54. I'm glad I can still hear mosquitoes -- they were eating us alive last night and I finally heard one buzzing by me, got up, turned the light on and nailed it. ok you made this up??? lol... what a crazy idea... |
