I can hardly imagine. My daughter was premature by 5 weeks, with respiratory issues, that was scary enough!

These preemie lives are special. Against all odds. Life pushes its way into our world.

Interesting that this is never a complicated question when dealing with any other species but our own. We never give a fancy Latin name to a developing rat and ask, "When will it become a rat?" It is only with humanity that we ask such silly questions.

This is just wonderful, nothing can stop life when its eant to be. Kudos to the parents for their courage, for the docs who took care of lil' Kimberly, but most of all to herself, for fighting and winning against all odds.
