So when does a fetus become a human being? For Kimberly 15 weeks earlier than I did, I guess. I can hardly imagine. My daughter was premature by 5 weeks, with respiratory issues, that was scary enough! These preemie lives are special. Against all odds. Life pushes its way into our world. Did you see the piece on the Russian woman who gave birth to one of the bigger babies, Michellezm? *OUCH* (and I know what I'm talking about here) Awwww what a little miracle!! So when does a fetus become a human being?Complicated stuff, skwirlinator So when does a fetus become a human being?Interesting that this is never a complicated question when dealing with any other species but our own. We never give a fancy Latin name to a developing rat and ask, "When will it become a rat?" It is only with humanity that we ask such silly questions. BTW, "fetus" is Latin for "baby." It is only with humanity that we ask such silly questions. That is another complicated question, jstates1 This is just wonderful, nothing can stop life when its eant to be. Kudos to the parents for their courage, for the docs who took care of lil' Kimberly, but most of all to herself, for fighting and winning against all odds. Life finds a way She will be a very special person. Hope she has a great life! Either that or she will be a very sickly person that has developmental problems. I wish for dorine1722 to be right. Cool hat. Beautiful. Awwww! lucky little darlin'! her family is blessed that she defied the odds like that (and yes, I heard about the russian one. NO KIDDING THAT WOULD HURT! massive baby!) I was born a month early with 2 extra fingers. But I can't imagine my parents' shock if this had happened! remarkable! |
