Just watched it. Interesting adaptation. The story spans around the question of whether Jerry (an anthropoid) is entitled to basic human rights. The argumentation paints an ironic picture of what being human is all about in the view of main stream society.
It was aired in the US this summer (see ABC site). I happened to stumble on a late night show at a local channel (yes). I don't know where else it can be found.
