Hear hear. In another clip comment I wrote that it's like alchemy. Reactions are irreversible. You have to think twice before you mix your emotions with reality, because you can not make the changes undone. If you overreact, the mix was wrong, and you can not but proceed from that point on. But this said, the fence story is much prettier

There's an old tale concerning gossip which fits with this story. A man was troubled by malicious gossip he had spread concerning a neighbor. He went to a wise man to ask what he could do to make amends. The wise man told him to take a feather pillow to a high peak and slash it open so the feathers were taken by the wind and spread far and wide. He did as he was told. He returned to the wise man and asked if he was absolved now. The wise man said he had one more task to do and he would be forgiven. He now needed to go throughout the land and retrieve all the feathers he had let loose.
