Unbelievable! Three different members of the Bush State Department bust into the passport files on Barack Obama, and we are expected to believe it was in error, or merely curiosity.

The sad thing is that even Hillary Clinton's campaign has some explaining to do, as one of the people who resigned over this incident was President Clinton's ambassador to Paraguay.

This campaign is just getting dirtier and dirtier. And hell, this is only the primary. I'm already getting sick over thinking what the fall will bring.

So let me understand. Deb agrees with me, and yet, you apologize to her if she took your comment personally. Are you saying that it is only I who you hold responsible for these thoughts, and anyone who might agree with me is excused? I love Deb with my heart, but be her a Hillary supporter, which is great by me, or not, she still agrees with me. So what is the difference here?

I love you too Zasel! And I do agree with you. Dirty politics stink whoever it is. Condi apologized for what that was worth. We will have to let it play out and see what happens don't you think? I don't know what to make of this mess at this point.

Yance, I accused no one of anything, except to say that there was reason for investigation. It seems that everyone involved in this matter, who has spoken publicly, agrees. So I said nothing outrageous whatsoever.

I am also not anti-Hillary as much as I am pro Obama. Deb know that, and I thought I might have mentioned that in this venue previously. If Hillary is the nominee, she will get my vote. But I am not happy with the way her campaign is being run. However, being someone who has spent a good deal of time inside political campaigns, I can say without hesitation, that ALL campaigns do sucky things. Sadly, where once politics was merely a contact sport, in recent years it has become a blood sport.

What do you think of all of this? Since it seems to involve more than Obama at this point, do you think it was just a curiosity factor by someone who had access? Or is that just a smokescreen? It seems like it was just the rage on the news and now you hear nothing more about it.

I really am not sure what to make of this, Deb. From some of the information I have heard and read, there was no real probe into the information in the records of McCain and Clinton. Their accounts were accessed and apparently closed right away. However, the Obama account was gone through somewhat extensively. However, all of this is in the early stages of investigation, and I cannot make any serious or fair assessment of what I believe is going on for the time being. But I am glad it is being probed, and in my heart, I sincerely hope that there is no political chicanery involved.

Ya know Yance, I have really gone out of my way to be forthright and honest in a friendly and respectful manner with you. But apparently you are just in the mood for an argument. I am not the kind of person to just argue for the sake of the exercise. Nor do I feel you have the right to question my motives or intentions. You do not know me, nor I you. As far as I am concerned, you have degraded this from a discussion to a attack on my honesty, something I would never think of doing to you. I consider this entire discussion closed.
