Well, to be fair, the guardian is more lefty than he is? And what is is a blog if not a source for "news" and "opinion" ?

Also.. they probably didn't "leak" it to the Guardian, the guardian may have been one of the few who were willing to run the story... (who knows, maybe others ran it too)

Vietnam was lost by politicians trying to micromanage the war from home and from the press and many celebrities undermining the support at home. If this turns out like Vietnam it will be because the military isn't allowed to win, not because they can't.

In other news, the democrats proposed some more legislation to undercut support for our troops by cutting their budget while they are still in combat. Israel is a better supporter of our troops than the democrat party.

They have a very vested interest in trying to remove the insurgent threats from the region ... of course they want the troops to stay there...
