People with guns do kill people. So do knives, baseball bats, iron pipes, water, ropes, sticks, pillows, pills, poison, electricity, gas, fire, vehicles, etc. Which ones are we going to ban?

The criminal use of cars kills far more people than the criminal use of guns. The accidental rate of death isn't even close. Most gun deaths are suicide.
