This is not my usual "political satire" "Bush-bashing"or "global doom & gloom". This is a serious subject -- who among us has not grown up watching Sesame St. or Mr. Roger's, New Zoo Review, et. al. or as in my case my son was raised on these shows (which I of course watched with him). Please, no matter how you feel about politics, sign this petition for the sake of the children. Thank You

Pfffft, these are some of the most commercially viable programs ever. They no more need public assistance than the NFL.

I signed the petition a couple of days ago after receiving a plea via email. It seems like NPR and PBS are threatened every year, and every year I sign a petition or write an email on their behalf. So far, so good.
