Oh no, Microsoft...tell me it's not true...you are promoting Windows Live with a metaphor-based interface right out of 1995. Guys, Windows Live is supposed to be about the future. Sheesh.

I don't know about others but live.com is the most unattractive domain name they could come up with for such a venture.

What is the advanced word on Windows Live? Looking at http://ideas.live.com/ I get the impression that its mostly just offering different services that are already out there, but under one centralized banner.

I think they have bigger visions for live - particularly in the context of Vista (web/desktop integration) but right now it's mostly re-branding of existing MSN services - which makes it even more confusing - because some services have been "lived" while other haven't. MSN Spaces is to do re-launch as Live Spaces next week.
