I don't mind 9-5...it's the being-behind-a-desk-all-day that I don't like...

I had a 6AM to 9AM job before.

It was a pain.

But it paid 45.50 an hour, so I didn't mind the pain.

The author doesn't mention that a portfolio career is a great way not to get retirement benefits and to get regarded as a part-time employee at more than one job. It is particularly nice if you are independently wealthy.
