According to them, the limit they are imposing will not affect 99% of their customers.

All in an effort to establish a pricing structure based on bandwidth. And with more interactive content on the web, that means more bucks for them and more control.

When will it stop? Goodness! Wonder who are the major stock holders of the company. They are the only ones who will benefit from this infringement.

Comcast isn't the only ISP, someone will continue to offer what they had... then people leave Comcast in droves (me at the front of the line) and they change their minds in the end. Just watch. It's a stupid move on their part.

Now, Comcast said it will amend its user agreement to say that users will be allowed 250 gigabytes of monthly usage.
Comcast's continued policy of warning users they had 'exceeded' bandwidth limits, but never supplying the official number was recently challenged in court. That's the only reason they are even go...

in 2006, McCain voted against the concept of an open free Internet when the Senate Commerce Committee marked up telecommunications legislation over three days in 2006. On June 28, McCain voted against an amendment that would have guaranteed Net Neutrality. It failed on an 11-11 tie vote.

Barack Obama released a comprehensive tech policy on November 14, 2007,
while visiting Google. He framed the policy as a forward-looking set of
ideas to move the economy, starting with protecting an "Open Internet"
and the recognition of the value an open Internet has had.
