Officers with the Inland Valley Humane Society served a search warrant around 2 p.m. at a large home in the 100 block of West Kingsley Avenue.</P><P>
They found 155 homemade pet caskets with dead cats inside stored in a garage on the property, said Humane Society Supervisor Brian Sampson.</P><P>
Seventeen cats were rescued from the property after they were found suffering from a variety of ailments. Those animals were taken to the Inland Valley Humane Society for medical care, Sampson said.</P><P>
The remaining 69 cats, two rats and two rabbits will remain under seizure on the property, Sampson said. That means the animals will be under the care of the Humane Society pending a court date.</P><P>
