Woah. LARGE chip detected on that shoulder. Too bad. Contrary to popular belief negative energy isn't energy at all...it's just negative.

I don't care if it's a chip or not. I'm entitled to feel the way I want to feel. If I'm angry, I don't appreciate being told to "settle down." If I've had a terrible experience (i.e., a relationship has ended and I am upset), I don't appreciate attempts to get in my pants. If I'm grumpy, I don't appreciate it being attributed to PMS.

I understand the sentiment behind what feh-muh-nist has clipped. It's about standing on one's own two feet when it hasn't been "allowed."

Certainly, there are life events that are beyond a human beings control; I do not include those things in my question. I ask simply, aside from fairy tales and mythology, why is it so much easier to put down your fellow man? Why is there a seeming need to have a group, say women, for e...
