Monsanto cannot expect Europe to turn a blind eye to the way it has behaved elsewhere in the world. The fact that the EU commission has been fighting monsantos corner shows how right the Irish are to refuse the Lisbon Treaty..

Great news on the GM crops. I hope the economic world down turn doesn't become to Monsanto's advantage.

Last time on the Lisbon Treaty, I was very perplexed. First is that all should vote, but how? I'd taught I'd solved it by an agreement with my son that he vote and I'd vote the opposite, which ever way!!! He proved to lazy and I voted 'yes'.

At this point I'm definitely 'NO'. The EU part in supporting the Zionists is the determining factor now. I'm even of a mind to demonstrate outside the EU centre in Dublin, telling them that 'No' to Lisbon is 'Yes' to Gaza with a Bush-shoe attached to my demo sign!

The defining point for my 'Yes' the last time was the strong evidence of 'illegal' ...

I was very confused about what to vote too, but I voted 'no' and will do so again, tho i wish i had enough faith in european politics to vote yes..
The way corporations influence world politics is not in the human interest, and monsanto in particular are utterly contemptible in their treatment of life on earth - human or otherwise - if I wasnt a single-parent I would probably become an environmental vigilante and the destruction of the above corpo would be my chosen target.....

Jerry23w forgive me for automatically assuming that you were American. I should have checked.

One huge asset that we have here is the ability to produce the BEST produce in the world by natural means. Long may we continue to do so, no matter what the short-term gains of doing otherwise.

I'm 60 and my daughter is a single parent of my only grand child, 3, who my wife minds our her while our daughter in at uni. Is there anything that we would not do for our kids? Our good health is our wealth. Be well.

Ratcatcher2 - I've love to be in Dublin to see that! But I'll be content to cheer you on from afar.

BOO Monsanto!
