Global warming is a problem and I personally think humanity (specifically the industrial revolution) has contributed it, but Al Gore should not lead the "fight". How about an accredited scientist?

Scientists demand evidence and the evidence does not show a correlation between increased C02 levels and a rise in earth's temperature.

Historical temperature data shows cyclical variations in the earth's temperature, which strongly correlate to increased solar activity on the surface of the sun. In other words, when the sun is emitting more energy the earth warms, and when the sun is emitting less energy the earth cools.

Many other factors contribute to global temperature cycles, but the influence of CO2 in negligible.
