βAll parties involved in the Darfur conflict β whether they are I'm all for ending the violence and suffering in Darfur, but I'm not sure that I agree with all the statements in this article. It certainly provides an interesting take on the situation, one that bears consideration. I will have to give this more thought. The title "socialism" might give us a hint. Who is going to be the world's police/army? The UN was originally instituted to deal with situations like this, but they are corrupt and feed/benefit from an opportunistic standpoint. The UN's *military* force is a joke because it is as corrupt as the institution itself...with it's bribing, murdering, raping, etc... A country's only hope, such as this ones, is a Western alliance of nations who genuinely care about the people within these countries....humanitarian insertion of a military force committed to destroying the dictatorial and terrorist forces. Uhhhhh...they, then, get in trouble and are called "imperialist" when they try. The title "socialism" might give us a hint..Why? Jesus Christ whom you are constantly beating the drum for sure as hell was not a right-winger. I'm skeptical, but for another perspective, see this clip. Thanks enbar for pointing to the other clip. |
