Any suggestions? Do I need a new card? Haven't a clue. Popping for help. Those cards have issues. A few things to try. One use a restore point back to a date prior to it failing. Although, that rarely works -- it can. Try updating the driver, and if all else fails remove the driver reboot and reinstall it. WinXP should do most of this for you. I would have you go into your router if other computers did not work on it as well. But you say they do so I have to assume its software or driver issue. Also, just in case you did not do a hard re-boot rather then a soft one (re-start) meaning turn the thing off completely and restart. You could also try and create a new user and see if it works on the new account, if it does you will know its a software issue with t... Thanks -- I'll give your ideas a try. I actually did uninstall the network adapter via the Device Manager and attempt to reinstall it. However, I'm not sure i did it right, as the adapter has not reappeared in Device Manager. I've tested the cable with another computer and hard-restarted the router with no change. I'll email you if I have other questions -- thanks again. |
