Google Notebook is very useful, easy to handle, and works fine. You can clip and collect information from the web without a 1000 characters restriction; you can create multiple notebooks, divide them into sections, and drag-and-drop your notes to stay organized, and you can share one or more notebooks with the world by making it public (as you can see ↗here).

In comparison to ClipMarks, Google Notebook's only, nonetheless decisive disadvantage is its lack of the community building COMMENT facility (OK, if you like, the lack of the POP and FOLLOW facility, too ).

There is no comparison.

If you're clipping for public then you have to have comment/vote mechanism. And the 1000 limit is no big deal given that you're clipping for others.

If you're clipping for private then clipmarks still gives you this facility.
